Anyone who’s ever been here knows just how special this place is. It’s a convergence point for surfers, yogis, travellers and digital nomads from around the world – yet beneath all the bustle, the little village of Sayulita holds fast to its proud Mexican roots. Here you’ll find home-cooked and handmade everything.
Location, Location, Location
The last thing anyone wants to do after a long flight is to travel a few MORE hours. Sayulita is conveniently located less than 40 km from the International Puerto Vallarta airport, where you can find direct flights to many major cities in the US and Canada. You can grab a taxi from the airport, take the bus, or have us take care of your airport pickup for you.
Surfs Up!
The Bahia de Banderas, home of Sayulita, proudly boasts nearly a dozen surf breaks within a 45 minute drive. You can always surf in town, but when you’re surfing with us, you’ll get to explore the neighbouring breaks too. Talk to us about your surf level and we’ll take you to the best spot for you!
Food, Drinks & Nightlife
We don’t mean to brag, but Sayulita has THE BEST food. And everything here is made “a mano” – by hand. You’ll find the best restaurants tucked away on cobbled streets served up by an abuelita and her hijos.
Nightlife in Sayulita is the perfect amount of intimate meets fiesta. You can bar-hop from live music to DJs to salsa night at whatever spot is hoppin. And you’ll probably see familiar faces, wherever you go.

Pueblos Magicos are towns recognized by the Mexican government for their “magical” qualities, whether that be their astonishing beauty, rich history, or extraordinary legends.
Sayulita was crowned with the official stamp of “Pueblo Magico” in 2015 and has been repeatedly called a tropical paradise, boho surf town, and a “hippie-chic” authentic Mexican village.
